Well should have said wind turbines love them or loathe them ?.
I know there a feature on most Canary Islands and all the country now but what's your view of them (excuse the pun).
Reason I ask is here in Blyth we have just had the largest in Europe errected on the pier:
Old ones can be seen on the right and the ones furtheest right is out at sea and was the laregst in UK until last week's arrival.
Apparently its higher than Big Ben, we have 7 on the peir, but they are being replaced by 2 massive ones, Blyth has a state of the art testing facility on the site of the old WW2 submarine docks it's big business now and it has literally changed the face of Blyth the testing facility is enormous.
I know there hugley unpopular in certain areas but personally think why not use the weather to benefit us.
They dominate the skyline and can be seen for miles & miles, this is the view as youturn out off our cul de sac:
