A hundred schoolchildren aged six to nine years old offered tourists and visitors in the coastal communities of El Medano over 200 white carnations and a postcard, this was to celebrate World Tourism Day. The initiative, organized by the Department of Tourism which is responsible for the historic route said it was well received and accepted by all.
