The Beatles. Love Me Do.

The Beatles first entered the charts on 13th Oct 1962 at No.49 with this song. It eventually got to a high of 17. Not their best, but it was the start of it all...Beatlemania had come to town!

I remember going to the record shop, listening in those booths and then buying Love me Do. I didn´t buy any more until the LP, Please Please me which I still think is good.

Haha! I was only 7. I didn't have any money to buy records! (And if I did, I would have bought sweeties!) My first record I bought was Dave and Ansell Collin's reggae hit "Double Barrel".
