Just been for a shower and was listening to Simon Mayo on Radio 2. The question was posed "Why do we pay more for large eggs?" It seems young hens lay small eggs, middle aged hens lay medium eggs and older hens lay large ones but not quite as often. The thing is they are all eating the same, the older hens don't get paid more, so why are we charged more? Enter the hen expert: "It's because they are bigger and you are getting more!" Bollox! Another rip-off!
Anyway, what size do you buy? We normally go large. Or are you a ducky person or even a thuper gooth!
