Re: Breakfasts
What do fellow members consider a breakfast should contain, My ideal version of a full Scottish goes something like this.
Fried soda and tattie scone topped with fried eggs grilled Ayrshire middle bacon, blackpudding, lorne sausage+links , fried tomatoes and mushrooms and a wee slice of haggis if required lots of toast and strong tea [never coffee]

Re: Breakfasts
If I'm going for the fry-up, I like 2 x pork link sausages, 2 x slice non-streaky bacon. Tinned plum tomatoes, fried egg, tattie scone. I'll take a slice of haggis or some mushrooms if I'm really peckish. Also love my toast and thick shred orange marmalade. Cup of tea or coffee and a glass of fresh orange juice to refresh the mouth afterwards. Might take a crunchy nut cornflake cereal on another day if I'm not too hungry or I may take a plate of porridge with sugar sprinkled on top with a little milk poured on top. Can't be arsed with all that sawdust tasting muesli or a croissant, not proper breakfast food that...

Re: Breakfasts
The owner (I think) is Chinese, he's there from 8.30am until 10 at night most days. There is Chinese food available but plenty of other sorts and its all good stuff. Yorkshire bloke does the chucking in.

Re: Breakfasts
Is that this one? TD invited us to eat with him there one night but we were doing other things so didn´t make it.
Or is it the one that you can´t see here but it is under the arcade by Colon Beach. Never many people in there

Re: Breakfasts
IMO, best breakfast is whatever you fancy most that day.
Best Breakfast if choosing though is folded eggs with smoked salmon and homemade hash cakes (with saltbeef, potato and onion).

Re: Breakfasts
Its the best way of scrambling really Cam, you fold the eggs over instead of stirring and knocking the shit out of them.

Re: Breakfasts
Sounds nice. I suppose you can add what you like to it while "folding"?

Re: Breakfasts
Yep, if you have a griddle plate on your cooker, you can grease it then just pour the egg mix on and use 2 spatulas.
