Saw a programme about this the other day. New boy on the block selling same stuff for 99p. Noticed they do reading glasses so I'll keep my eyes open for one. Is there one round your way Reg?

I got a pair of reading glasses from poundland Vince, they're great! I mean, why pay all that money to the big name opticians when all you have to do is try a pair on until you find what strength you need...for a pound! (Right now I'm wearing my FCUK specs at £75!)

Primark, Poundland etc etc all making profits no wonder in current times people want value for money and that's what they offer.

Can't really knock them likes of Aldi, Lidl B&M Bargins (they might be a local one) are giving people what they want at prices they can afford simply business plan stack it high sell it cheap... As the film said build and they will come.

Car boot sales. Would I? Nah. Went to one once, bloke was selling second hand tools, got interested until I realised they probably came from shed burglaries.
