    Just realised that Diwali is today, we celebrated it in 2011 in Rajasthan it was then in October so I nearly missed today !! Even the poorest of people living under plastic sheets and in cardboard boxes on the side of the road managed to somehow find a candle to light.

    our indian colleagues brought in sweets and savouries so we could celebrate too
    i somehow missed all the food tho...
