The National Police reported Tuesday that three individuals have been arrested on suspicion of a scam of more than 180,000 euros to over 38,000 fixed telephone users Tenerife.
The detainees worked or had worked as installers for various companies providing service for a phone company recognized and apparently hired several additional tariff lines to obtain a financial gain by calls handled subscriber lines.
Two of the arrests were carried out in the area of Golf del Sur, in the municipality of San Miguel de Abona, when these people manipulated the lines of fixed phone users to make calls to premium rate lines that were in his name.
The third person allegedly involved in the scam was arrested on 5 November in collaboration with local police Guancha.
As indicated in a statement from the National Police, the actions were committed around the whole of Tenerife, as he adds, those involved agreed to numerous telephone exchanges, both north and south of the island of island.
