Yeah, Police Force will soon be full of foreigners. Come on Nick Forage, now your party has been accused of being racist might as well go with the flow. I can feel myself swinging your way Sir. And I understand you wish to change the stupid smoking rules in pubs as well.

We have had the smoking ban here for 8 years. I actually think its a good idea. When It came in first, I was smoking 30 a day. Now, I don't smoke at all ( unless very pissed). A lot of the pubs here have smoking areas outside which more often than not, are nicer than the inside of the pub i.e. patio heaters, TV's etc

still smoke in my local, lock the door to one bar and if anyone suspicious walks in the other bar, just lock the communal door.

Guess the pub owners smoke then. Not so in my case. One down the road does but thats frequented by van dwellers.

It's an instrument for measuring resistance. Looks like Megger is the brand name. (Bit like us calling a vacuum cleaner a "Hoover") See here
