Here is another good site Have a look !!
And this one is a bit harder to use but well worth persevering HERE It also has old photos of Gran Canaria, Fuerta, Lanzarote etc

You know what makes the last set so poignant for me is the fact that there is not one of those people in all those photos alive today...

Lovely old photos LR. One shows the Comodoro being just built in 1968. First place I stayed in Tenerife, got the holiday off teletext..........place was buzzing!

I'd love to be there in the 20's or 30's with feck all development and dirt roads. I've never liked built up places. In fact, the place I'd like to live in would be El Tanque.
