Well the insurance here is pretty cheap so not going to make much difference to us! I wonder though on that basis whether loading insurance premiums for young drivers will be viewed the same way?

Sorry Cru, that's the point I was trying to make, it's the young drivers who get hit with crippling insurance costs. If you are under 25 it's not uncommon to have to pay £1500+! Previously though, females weren't charged as much as young men as they were deemed to be safer drivers. But rather than lower men's premiums to the same as the ladies...guess what? The ladie's premiums go up to the same rate as the mens! Greedy bassas!

Yesterday while sat at tempory road works traffic lights, i saw a young lady approaching me from behind way too fast. i put my arm across Janet and waited for the bang, Sure enough she ran into the back of me, Janet said oh my neck, i said not now love, i got out and asked if she was ok and she asked the same, I was driving a courtesy car from another garage, Couldnt see much damage and i looked at her car and the front was a foot too short, i couldnt be arsed with all the twaddle claiming (would have been different if it was a private hire driver) so i said to the young lady i'm not bothered what do you want to do, she looked relieved because she had claimed 3 times for the same thing, Swings and roundabouts innit. A few years ago i ran into the back of a young lady and she wasnt too bothered about claiming either, Probably because she either didnt have insurance or she didnt want to bother them too, So i think we could just have insurance for major accidents, all this claiming for this that and the other should stop, We could carry baseball bats for certain types which would be grat fun,
So there is my thought of the day, A load of crap as usual, Janet hasnt mentioned her neck today, So all that training wasnt wasted,

Drivers around the Arc de Triomphe have been known to get so irate, that after somebody else runs into them, they slam their own cars into reverse just to do more damage to the other persons car. I'm open to correction on this, but i think that motor insurance is suspended while you drive round that monument. Feckin mad, it is, 8 "lanes" of traffic,

We got a lift back to TFS last April and our driver shunted the car in front at a roundabout. Spanish lady in front got out, came round , had a look and just waved us off. Not worth the hassle. I like that attitude!
