We're getting a severe weather warning in the UK from the Met Office as the remnants of Hurricane Katia reach our tranquil shores tomorrow.

I was in the Royal (Air Force that is) 203 and 206 Squadrons, RAF Kinloss. :cold2: Mountain Rescue / Pipe Band - anything for a piss up.

we are in Fortrose on the Black Isle,North of Inverness. We have not encountered any strong gales and at the moment their is not a breath of wind. We must be lucky. Heard on news that further south have had some damage.

The wind is getting up again .

We had Hurricane force 12 on Monday night and its now blowing Gale force 9/storm force 10. Due to abate by morning which means you guys will get it later tonight.
