Re: Let's count in images
Came across this one when looking for a 197 image, first motorbike I ever had on the road, and no, I am not that old... Had an old moped on my uncles farm from about the age of thirteen, but when I turned sixteen and mates were all getting bikes I had to look for something in my budget range of £0 to £0... Guy a few doors down from us had had an old motorbike lying in his garden for years, I approached him with a view of purchasing, he said it had packed in for some reason which he did not know and to just take it, and if I got it going give him a few quid, so off I set dragging it up the road, and I mean dragging it as I recall the rear brake had seized on. Had it going within a day, then prepared for mot within a week or so and that was me on the road...
Can’t recall exactly what I paid for it, but £4 or £8 comes to mind, which would have got the guy a few pints back then...

Was always trials bikes after the James, could use them for day to day travel to work etc, plus have a bit fun off road, once passing car test never really got in to road bikes, but always raced something off-road, moto-cross, grasstrack, enduro, never ever did competitive trials, bit to slow...

Distillery No. 209 was founded by Leslie Rudd, owner of Edge Hill winery in St. Helena, who discovered a vine-covered building on the property with a weathered sign proclaiming it Registered Distillery No. 209. The building was too small for a new pot still, so Rudd chose to relocate to San Francisco. Distillery No. 209 technical director Arne Hillesland, a Silicon Valley high tech worker turned distilling alchemist, standing in front of the 25-foot-high pot still, says the trick in making gin, is the botanicals.
Gin must contain juniper berries. But the other ingredients vary widely. Hillesland says his botanicals include an unusual dried orange peel imported from Italy and coriander. Botanicals go into bags that are steeped like teabags in pure grain alcohol.
The liquid is heated, the alcohol and its essential oils and flavors rise up the column and become Distillery No. 209 gin.
None of these products are cheap. Distillery No. 209 gin costs about $35 a 750 ml bottle; Anchor Junipero Gin, about $30 Hangar One Vodka, about $35 Old Potrero costs about $60.
