Just remembered - someone told me a couple of days ago that our member Vera is moving back to the UK. Does anyone know if this is true or just the usual Tenerife rumour mill?

Hello everyone, sorry i havnt been on for ages, alot has gone on lately, anyway yes the rumours are correct we are making the big move back to the UK, Its not that ive not loved living here because i have but it just feels the right time to return to my home in england. We go on the 7th of march and are traveling back by ferry and road as we have our 2 doggies to get back and my daughters one so its going to be an experience to say the least. I dont mind taking advice so if anyone has done this journey with their pets feel free to give it to me. I hope in the future i have a bit more time to come on here so i will still be keeping in touch. x

Hi Vera,If the time is right for you to return to our cold UK then that is what you have to do.

Hi Vera, I had looked in to this trip the other way. I think you are doing it the best way round for the animals as it will get cooler. Make sure they are wormed before entering the UK.
You will also need the vet check but sure you know that.
Hope I have not forced you back by the thought of me moving out,
Where are you going to live in the UK?
Hope it all goes well, just follow your instinct with the journey.

Thanks guys,like i say sorry ive not been here for a while, yes im going back to merseyside a little old rugby town called st helens, it makes it easier for us that i kept my house there so hopefully i will just slot back into the uk life again, i am going to miss the weather and a few other things but im just so made up that im going to be closer to my family. Didnt realise you were moving over here Kev, where you going to live?

Not sure yet V, my son is already living in Adeje. We are coming over in next month to rent for 3 months why we look for purchase.
I would like a small Finca to work on and a place to live whilst doing it up, plus another to rent to our son(can't let them have it free)
Looked at quite a few options so keep viewing.
Bank repossession looks a good way forward.
I hope you do OK slotting back in, soon miss the place though.
