Just reading through my water charges for this year, £1 per day - or £360 for the year, Is that good or bad,
What do other people pay ?,
In Tenerife, The renter is, cold water - €21,30, hot water - €10,65, that for 4 months
My place, cold water - €4,26, hot water - €4,26, for 4 months.
    So for a year, renter = €95,85
    My place = €25.56,
So it dont rain much in Tenerife, but in the UK people are swiming in the stuff, it falls out of the sky all year round, they dont have to fix the leaks because there is that much of it,
So really WTF is going on here, Share holders ? fat cat bosses ?,
Nothing like a bill to set me off Water charges 577704309

French bought ours, Ruskies own loads, why sell your biggest and most useful resource to a foreign body, what if we go to war.
My bill is not metered until April, we pay 42 quid per month for 10 months, so 420pa. Be more when metered coz of pond, still worried, nah, won't be here.

Yeah, and we don't use meters...yet. I can't remember how much ours is, it just gets added on to the Community charge as water rates and sewage.

I pay much less in Tenerife for water AND electric. Water is about €1.20 cubic metre and leccy is 13 centimos a unit. No standing charges and no sewage charge. Comes via community though and hasnt gone up in 10 years.
