There's a Billy Connolly film about that - he plays a lawyer/fisherman whose boat is struck by lightning and sues God when they pull the Act of God clause to avoid paying him.

, How doe's the other lot think of that, act of allah ?, Just go's to show how archaic things still are, I just tried to insure both apartments against that crap, tsunami's and volcano's going off, not in Tenerife but here in the uk, Ooo we dont do no acts of god they said, Blox to that i dont believe so i'm having none of it, Can you imagine some disaster in Tenerife then trying to make a claim, Who would answer the phone for a start
