Me and Debbie got up without a hangover so decided to take a trip along to Pageura. On getting off the local bus this was the first street we came across.
We came off the main street and went down to the beach.
Here are the views looking up and down the seafront.
All this taking photos for MF is thirsty work you know.
The resort is more of a German resort, most of the restaurants etc seem to cater towards them, I cant remember seeing any British type bars in the area although there is nothing wrong with that it made a pleasant change. It's totally different to the likes of Magaluf etc, we didn't see any of the special drinks offers outside bars, infact there was no drink prices outside any of the bars. It was more expensive than Magaluf/Palma Nova but I really liked the resort, peaceful and very clean and nice to wonder around, we paid €3 for a pint of lager at the bar on the seafront, the food was mostly fish dishes in this bar and ranged from €9 upwards.
I would go back again, the bus journey from magaluf took about 20 minutes passing through the likes of Santa Ponsa and if you get a seat its a pleasant journey, the cost was about €3.40 for the two of us, cant remember the exact amount but it was not far off that. A taxi from Magaluf to this resort is approx €18.
Didn't put this hotel in the accommodation review section as I didn't stay there but thought it may come in handy for someone that wants that something a little different in a nice resort.
The Hotel Villamil looks a bit like some old fortress style building and so I had to take a look around.
You can see what I mean about a fortress style building if you look to the right of this photo
Once inside you can see the fortress feeling follow throughout this lovely building.
The outside was no disappointment either
