We had a piper at our wedding and at both mum and dads funerals. Dads cremation we had navy peeps in uniform one side of the long walk up and legion members other side, some In uniform and the piper walked in front of the coffin. Fabulous as the white ensign was raised, hundreds of people.

Just back from Tesco and there was a highland dance school doing a bit of fund raising for the local hospice.
There were about a dozen bairns all under 12 giving demos to a live piper , it was really lovely and the bairns were immaculate in their dress

Bit strange realy, You got Brighton in the middle and it could not be more young and vibrant, yes it is the gay capital of the world, but also has some of the biggest straighand gay college network. That means clubs are buzzing.

It you want a relaxing holiday then up here is lovely. Yes I know it is a bit cold at the moment but when the sun is out which it is,it is lovely. Saw some deer today as well.

Yes in this weather the deer all come down from the hills looking for easier food , have seen them pinching the sheeps turnips etc
