Magma Fest techno music event cancelled.

This event was supposed to be on Saturday but was cancelled after the venue "didn't have the correct licence"...Island connections

I posted the following on Thursday last elsewhere - the way I read it (not in IC who I think are always a bit OTT) is that Magma have now applied for the permit and those who have bought tickets can use them or get a refund. No mention about a different location


With more than 80% of tickets sold in advance Magma Art & Congress, announced the suspension of the scheduled 8th Edition of MagmaFest due to take place on Saturday 30 March. It announced this afternoon, Thursday, March 28 that they lacked the necessary authorizations to celebrate the festival. They have not been able to arrange the specific permit with the City of Adeje and the National Police in a timely manner, especially considering the holidays.

Magma Canary is in contact with the promoter, AirBag Events, to set a new date as soon as it can. Meanwhile, all those who have purchased tickets, will soon be able to contact the organisers to request a refund or keep them for the new date which will be announced soon.

Typical, they just dont like seeing peeps have a good time. Or more likely they refused to grease the right palms.......
