Hi I am new to the Forum and wondering if anyone has stayed at the Ponderosa Hotel and Hacienda as we are booked to go in Nov 13 and Feb 14. I will appreciate your comments on these places as we have never stayed in them before, thank you.

Hi Topdog, No we have been there quite a few times, stayed the first 4 or 5 times with friends in their apartment Compestella Beach Golf 2 and this year at Zentral Center Holtel.

Eh don´t quite know how to say this but it depends what your expectations are. While I have never stayed at either, I can only base my comments on what I have read or heard from others.
Neither of them are 5 star and you can probably tell that by the prices you have been quoted, but if you are just going to use them as a base then I believe they are both clean Ponderosa Reviews The Hacienda I think you will find is close to the clubbing areas but in November you shouldn´t have so many 18 year olds there. Both are very different from Compostella Golf and Zentral but if you are prepared then you won´t get any surprises.

As said before, if you don't have high expectations, you will be fine.
These hotels are generally frequented by the 18-30 type market, so be prepared.................... in all honesty, we are not putting our big groups in the Hacienda this year due to the increase in break ins.
So please please please, make sure you are very safety and security conscious.
Having said that, the location of the Hacienda is excellent.

I have said it before and I will say it again, if you deal with people who ACTUALLY KNOW the area, the hotels and the situations, they offer free advice to try and suit your needs rather than plonk you in unsuitable accommodation...................
Hope you get sorted. If they do offer you an alternative, please feel free to ask and I can advise you accordingly.
