When we were kids we used to to a sort of brass rubbing thing with the car names, we'd put a bit paper over the car badge and rub over it with a pencil. Woleseley was always a good one and so was Austin of England. for Reg 294053457

In 1973 i was given the task of fitting a radio in one of them, the thing was brand new, A new aerial had to be fitted on the front wing, which meant drilling a hole for Reg 2419626307, then the radio itself which i can still remember was a Radiomobile, quite a few years later the gaffer had been doing something with the car and i was driving and he was listening for a noise, the bonnet blew up and smashed the windscreen, the gaffer was a cockney and you never heard such language, i was wetting myself, he was like houdini for getting out of scrapes, but he will have done without costing him a penny, Best gaffer i ever had, helped me get my first house, for Reg 294053457I still left him and sometimes wish i hadnt, for Reg 3913804730

Blame him then. Last one I had was about 20 years ago. Probably came from Bourne Auctions for about £30. Mechanically ok so I sprayed it Pink. Remember putting nylon rope and filler in the side windscreen posts, for Reg 1554180325 thought some old bird will come along and snap this up for £995. No! Young bloke bought it......Didnt know we had gays living in Fenland then. Errr, still dont know any......
