    I'm not too keen on cyclists at the best of time when you get about 20 or so in a cycling club who deliberately take up half the road to the median line, but this just takes the biscuit...they want motorists to take responsibility for all accidents until they can prove otherwise! I know not all cyclists are nutters, but I've seen the ones when I'm stopped at traffic lights just ride straight through 'cos there's nothing coming. Can you imagine if we, the motorists started doing that? We have had the council build miles of pedestrian/cycle ways up here costing hundreds of thousands of pounds and there's no one on them, the cyclists are pedalling sedately along on the road, leaving their brand new unused paths to the odd rabbit or wood-pigeon! Makes my blood boil. I repeat though, they are not all like that!

    I read that a long time ago and you have just voiced my exact argument, when they pay road tax like cars then they can have a say, but as it is at the moment, they want the road, the cycle paths and also the pavements, they want it all.

    I hate it when a group of them take over the road. No feckin respect for other road users. I'd love to plough through the middle of them but it might scratch my car.
