    This will affect some 220,000 people living abroad...BBC News
    (Existing pensioners will be unaffected).

    There are going to be a lot of people badly affected by this i.e. those in armed forces, diplomatic corp etc. who married and remained living abroad, but I kinda get where they are coming from regarding the rest.
