Well Steve, this is interesting, I was about to say she could be Ali MacGraw to your Steve McQueen then I wondered who the other women in his life were and just read this ........ I have read tons of stuff about SQ, I came to the conclusion that if it was a choice of a fast women or a fast car or motor bike, The women would lose, Laid on a plate Yes, Having to chase it, Nah, Weekends were made up of Dirt bike riding in the desert, he used to compete alot, As for being gay, not a cat in hells chance, The only women that got close to knowing what made him tick was his first wife, she was there at the end, and at the begining, What happened inbetween was a real life movie, They dont make them like that anymore,

I got to admit I liked him in nearly every film especially Bullitt. The only let down was the "Towering Inferno" which I presume he only did for the money

I liked him too but saw his life on the Biography Channel and he didn´t come across as a very nice person, but he was a great actor.

Towering inferno, Yes i agree, but rather than read the script, his first words would be who else is in it, Paul newman Etc Etc, So you would, I mean there was some big names in that film,
Gypsy, You are right, he was a pain, and he didnt suffer fools, so he would come across as a mean s-o-b, But when your a big star, and everybody is fawning over you, thats how you come across, I have a terrible time being nice to people, Its not easy, But i think i hide it well,
If a film like bullitt came up today, Which actors would you put in it ?, Jason statham ? for one maybe, There isnt anyone is there, Stephen fry ? My arse, his arse, Nah, Load of blady nancy boys innit, I have a poster, McQueen Lives, Who's going to knock him off his perch ?
