Thats the second "training" tall ship to sink in the last 5 or 6 years. Mmmmm...... wonder where the instructors got their diplomas???

Where was the Pilot then? At Wells yachtsman are warned to contact the Harbourmaster who will come out to guide them in in dangerous conditions. Know it all Captain I guess. Bet there are a few crew on board with RYA certificates of various flavours, tut-tut.
