Welcome back Reg!
:read2: A little bird tells me, well Mary to be precise, that you are due back in Blighty today. Must say I have missed Reggies Ramblings. Mary is trying to dish the dirt on you with photographic evidence of misbehaviour, I would get in first if I were you.

Re: Welcome back Reg!
Pete and myself went for the flambe strawberry pancake as desert, well they hadnt been on fire i could tell, Pete being Irish woofed his down, I called Pedro over, Excuse me Ped but that has not been Flambeed So off he went, I thought he would be back with the brandy and a lighter,
Nah Turns up with a trolley and half a dozen dishes, He then went into a half houre how to make jam routine, Well i was nodding off by the time it was on my plate, i felt like saying i prefered it as it was, Night before somewhere else i asked for a Jamacian Cup, It should have Tia Maria in it,
I called the Pedro ess over and said this deseert is devoid of Tia Maria, she said it has, i said it hasnt,
off she went and came back with the boss, Yes sir can i help, Yes i said you are trying to stiff me, where is the rest of my desert, He came back and almost filled my dish with the missing ingredient,
Cheeky bleeders,

He works for me inbetween his proper job, so he never gets a rest,
He now has 3 months training then he is a guard on proper money for a change,
Just hope he still wants to do my stuff, which i think he will.

Re: Welcome back Reg!
Usual for me, Fending off scantilly clad women, drinking and eating too much, Took Irish Pete in the Claddagh, Jerry had his usual miserable face on, Pete said whats up with yer man Dunno mate, Jeez he said he wants to give it up, So we moved on, I dont bother with the place usually when we are on our own, Brian had left and they had a new guy in, he was no fun either,
I asked about Ebu, Oh he's in Madrid ? whats he doing there i said, Dont ask was the reply

It's a hard life for you . I knew Brian had left. Looks like I am not missing much then. I always preferred the Irish times anyway.Mcqueen wrote:Usual for me, Fending off scantilly clad women, drinking and eating too much, Took Irish Pete in the Claddagh, Jerry had his usual miserable face on, Pete said whats up with yer man Dunno mate, Jeez he said he wants to give it up, So we moved on, I dont bother with the place usually when we are on our own, Brian had left and they had a new guy in, he was no fun either,

Good restaurant in Las Chafiras called Pedro's. Spanish. One of the waiters is spitting image of Billy Connelly I kid you not.

Re: Welcome back Reg!
Trouble with me is if somebody charges you for something you aint getting i cant keep quiet,
I dont do it, Ie, the car Pete cleaned was sold 2 hours ago, out on test drive the fuel light came on, I drove into the petrol station and put some in, wether he bought it or not, he did, so the 50p was a loss leader but did the trick

Re: Welcome back Reg!
The fuel pumps in leeds are vicious, try just getting 50p out of one, they try to catch you out and jump to 51p, I find if you stop before it reaches 48p and rest a minute you can then extract the last 2p, A penny saved is a penny earnt Pete got a reduction in apartment rent,
