Just went in to edit above post, edit page initially comes up as a "pole" question, then flashes quickly to the edit page, but there's nothing in the edit box to edit, the thread titles in the title box, but that's it...

Is there a problem with the forum...

This might just be a coincidence, but the OTHER TF has had a hacking attack.

They found the hacked code hidden in the Arcade section so they have locked that section out to prevent user access while they are checking the forum !!!!

From what Kirsty said, I'm not sure that the hack was purely in the Arcade section, that was just where the identified the rogue coding.

Forumotion don't give their data base to anyone. I've seen people ask for their source code when their forum has been banned for breaking T&Cs, but they get told where to go...

You won't believe this Minty, there was a forum last week was told by Online Guardian (Forumotion's Secret Police), they had 2 weeks to get rid of the "material that was breaking the T&Cs". The poor owner said he has over 2,000,000 posts and could they tell him what the offending post/thread was? Not a chance. They said if you haven't removed offending piece from your forum by time stated, your forum gets shut down. They will have to have trawled through every thread to find it, and what makes it worse is it's a gaming site forum, so it's probably a copyright infringement. Where the feck would you start? Relax Cam, I've sorted it, just went to edit another post of mine, once again nothing there, thought shit here we go again...   Then it dawned on me, it was a post where I had used cut and paste, and as such the text had originally came up as black, which I had then at the time edited to white, but when you do that and then go back in to edit again the white text does not show in the edit box...

    It's the future (not)...
