My eyes they saw no natural sight

I wrote it at school and had it published when 30 years old.

Won the Robert Burn's certificate for poetry recitation for 5 years running at primary school despite my half english blood!
My scottish roots shone through (as well they should)

That reminds me, I came third in history ?, I thought how did that happen, Mmm
Only 3 of us turned up for the exam. Nobody would notice or care at my school, Kids would commit suicide rather than get sent there, Very lucky to get out alive,

I won a easter bonnet competition. I worked in a children's hospital and the ward I worked on held a competition to make a easter hat. The children had to judge and I won.
