Seems they made a profit of...€86.6million in 2012. I don't believe a word of it. I think they make hundreds of millions each year. Just think of all the land and gifts that the church has been donated over the past 2,000 years. The gold religious icons encrusted with precious stones made with the world's best craftsmen. Painters and sculptors like DaVinci and Michaelangelo who were commissioned to do works of art. Presents and gifts from heads of state through the centuries, incomes from rents from lands and properties. Indulgences that were sold to rich merchants/kings/queens etc. for absolution of sins.
