Now we don't watch much TV midweek (far sooner read) but we do Sky+ certain programmes to watch over the weekend.
We've followed The Mentalist for a few years now and just as it looks like Patrick Jane is about to find out who serial killer Red John is Channel 5 only want you to pay for the channel !.
So the 2 episodes so far that I recorded are lost despite recording them while Ch5 HD was free the planner now tells me I need to 'pay to view this channel'.
Rip off merchants while I admit to watching a few America drama's such as Under the Dome the fact that basically that's all channel 5 is a channel of 'foreign' programmes I find it scandalous that they in conjunction with Sky want you to pay for the channel.
I'll catch up The Mentalist via the on demand website but once it done that's it no more channel 5 for me.
BBC, ITV & Ch4 offer free to air HD but the least watched terrestrial channel don't not exactly going to boost there figures and who would pay Sky even more money for Ch 5.
