The south, west and North of Tenerife are well covered but very little is mentioned about the East. Is there anything worthwhile visiting here or would it be a good place to spend your holiday??

Pyramids of Guimar, Candelaria, El Medano etc. Some nice places to visit but I don't know about staying there.

Candelaria is lovely. Not too touristy. There is a lovely street leading up to the church. Haven't a clue about any other places though.

I will lend you a Satnav. Best way is to go through Santa Cruz, seafront way, keep going to sign for Anaga mountains. Do those first then head back taking direction of Mercedes and La Laguna.

I've done it that way, but felt it would have been better coming down the Santa Cruz side thus having the sea views, plus you end up at a not bad beach...Topdog wrote:I will lend you a Satnav. Re: East Tenerife
Sorry Adam that is what I meant by saying Anaga first, go down that way and then when you back track, instead of taking the sign for Santa Cruz, take the one for Mercedes and La Laguna.
