Most Hiperdinos are open until 22:00 Mon to Sat and some of them open for a few hours on a Sunday. You'll have to check out whatever one is local to you to confirm. Also, they are more expensive than Mercadona.

More bank holidays than you can shake a bloody stick at. Went on bus to Mercadona one day big carrier bag in pocket cos they dont give them out no more and it was yes, another unexpected bank holiday. Cost me a Euro to get feck all except a suntan waiting for buses.

Re: Supermarket Opening Hours
Dont forget Siesta, a lot of shops close in the afternoon and then reopen for a while in the evening, especially in the Spanish towns such as Santa Cruz, San Isidro, and Granadilla. Not sure if Adeje is like that since its been infiltrated by Brits like Topdog.

Dont know really. It was in reply to TDs comments about December. I have no doubt places like Al Campo would be open but doubt he has discovered that yet being as its in the Spanish zone.
