1st January 2014

I hope everyone had a great time celebrating the going out of the old and the coming in of the new.  It is pretty quiet round here this morning so maybe one or two are suffering the effects of too much falling down water but whether you had a raving party or a quiet raising of glasses I hope that 2014 is good for all of you.

I was in bed, just another day innit. And not very nice either, wind and rain. My dogs tucked up in his bed. Walkies? Nah.

Just checked out the weather radar, rain for the foreseeable future, you lot North of the border are getting some very soon too. Same cloud. 
Patsy has just gone to feed my daughters dogs, she has gone to the Algarve for the week yesterday, highly sensible she is........All six kids in tow too, hmmmm. I wasnt invited anyway.

You know, surely some bright twat could have worked out that the twenty four hour day ain't correct and sort it, but no, we just slip an extra day in every few years...

Saw a bloke in a bar who looked about eighty years old, he said he was 21, feckin born on 29th of Feb, only been left school 4 years.

365 and a quarter days to circle the Sun, minutes in a day would make no difference but eventually Summer would become Winter........Galileo, Galileo........Some times they slip in an extra second.
