Re: Welcome Home
All fine ta, crammed loads in as youngest sons birthday too so went a bit earlier than planned and surprised him. We had a mates get together memorial left the main deal to a quiet family, then a real nice do. Thanks all. It was a bit more than that as my local pub in Sussex, a lovely old fashioned pub run by a lovely family, the landlord, Steve had a heart attack and died. This was just after I moved here, he was 58. Two other locals in the pub also the same age died too, within three weeks. I popped in for a pint and to say my farewells but all hell broke loose. Steve"s son, Sean, who I have known since he was a tot, now runs the pub. Mum is still grieving, but whilst I was there I think her grieving process was helped. Hell that broke loose was the sudden labour of Sean's missus two weeks early, with her first grand child. Popped back later just before we went to our hotel and a bouncing wee girlie has reared her head. Thanks all

Re: Welcome Home
I knew most, like the dead friends ages ago, but not about Seans missus being
preggers and then to go in to labour whilst there. Before we went back to hotel we also met Clare and Gaz for a curry. Jan went shopping earlier in the day with her best mate and neighbour of many years, whilst i did the lads bit with old work buddies as a send off.

Re: Welcome Home
Sad events are not in my repetoire, should be to celebrate the nice things.
