Re: Where is"The Patch" in PDLA
The original name came from The Patch restaurant which is opposite CC City Centre in Las Americas and from there it used to just run down to the sea front and include, bars like Dubliner, Gaelic Corner, Shenanigans, The Sax Bar, Bad Bobs, Drunken Duck etc. I think the area needs to be pulled down, as it is very scruffy and dirty but the bars actually offer some great entertainment IMO better than the La Paz Strip. These days when people mention the Patch they seem to think it runs from the La Siesta Hotel down to Colon II apartments but we know differently dont we!!!

Thanks Gypsy. Does anyone else have any experiences of it and would someone be able to put up a map showing where it is? Thanks.

No, that is by the Columbus, you need to walk down the road with the Balkenen is on (great Lebonese food) when you get to the Santander Bank, turn left and head towards the Las Palmeras Hotel, it is then just here

Re: Where is"The Patch" in PDLA
Mind if you go their D stay on the road Cam has shown (Calle Mexico) despite it being rather dark & looking a bit uninviting with all the bins its better lit than the other side with all the steps that run up from the restaurant that used to be the Central Station bar up to Brewers Droop it can seem rather intimidating down there is your the only people about.
As stated needs a revamp used to be some great bars and show bars such as Blaydon Races & Central Station both now long gone, still some great entertainment Dublinder & Gealic Corner we're not struck Shenannigans it's abut clicky in their careful you don't take someone's seat despite it not having their name on it !!! the bar above is alright nice outdoor area and had decent entertainment last time we were in.
