Family entertainment in the south
Where would the best place be for family entertainment i.e. what bars have hypnotists, shows etc ( not looking for the expense of San Miguel medieval show or Vivo Decades )

Hypnotists, snake charmers, parrot shows, along with sequence dancing are the sort of entertainment you get in the hotels. The better acts usually (but not always) stick to the circuit.

Yes, they tend to do certain bars (2 or 3 of them) each night of the week

Yeah, thats the sort of stuff I would be interested in. Any suggestions? Would particularly like a bit of blues or a decent rock band. Just thinking, the kids probably couldn't give a toss so long as there was wifi available.

Not sure where your staying in PDLA but the Bulls Head (formerly owned by Miss Diane of Crossroads fame) have a decent band on and that 'strip' has a few entertainment bars should be something for yous along there.
As everywhere they have the obligatory boards up outside advertising the nightly acts, you get what Gypsy means by 'circuit' once you've seen a few boards because you'll easily work out their pattern for the week and even on a particular night as some acts on earlier in the night move on from bar to bar.

The the San Blas square appear as if it would be quite lively on an evening in high season, might be worth checking it out

Ocean Golf and Country. Been looking on Google maps, about 10/15 min walk to San Blas centre I'd say

There is always V doing his Delilah in the Sundowner. That'll teach the kids to behave themselves, they won't step out of line for the rest of the holiday.

No no no, the Tom Jones one. My favourite version is actually the Alex Harvey Band one, so sometimes it gets a Welsh accent and sometimes a Scottish one. Cockney Rebel or Chas and Dave didnt do one.....
