How do I save a map with a place that I want to show you guys highlighted? Then, how do I upload this map so that its interactive and not just a screenshot?

Sign in to Google and open Google maps Dermo. Click on the wee cog wheel at lower right. Click on "My Places". When that opens, click on "Create a map". A new page will open with "Create a new map". Click on it. Click on the bit that says "Base Map". I usually use the satellite view which is the 2nd one on the top row.
Once you've added your pins/markers etc. hit the "Share" button on the top right. (It's green).
A link will then come up which you copy, make sure you change who can see it to "Public", that way anyone on the forum can see it. Paste your link in the top box of the wee chain link icon and call it what you like in the bottom box. That should be it!
