I've been to Tenerife this past three or four years and love it there at Christmastime. Would hate to have Christmas at home now in the cold and snow!

Christmas Day
What have you planned for Christmas Day? Do you go out or stay at home?

Re: Christmas Day
We will be back in the UK for Xmas as we like to see the family. Have stayed over Xmas but to me it don't have the same feel about it as here in the UK even if it is cold.

Re: Christmas Day
I really enjoy doing the Christmas dinner. Get up real early and stick meat in. Another couple of hours Kip then crack on, shower after prep then open a beer and last lap 3pm all done just in time for queens speech. so a big raise of glasses and a big UP YOURS.

Re: Christmas Day
Our eldest daughter and hubby have just put down a deposit on a house, they move in sometime in November and we have been invited for Christmas dinner! And we're just catching you up TD, we should be grand-parents by the 28th of this month! You can see by my avatar that I'm far too young to be a grandad...I'm devastated! (Looking forward to it really).

Re: Christmas Day
The last few Xmas's we have eaten out as it's pointless cooking for two people. Guess we shall go out again where they just take shed loads of cash of us
What about a picnic on the beach eh? or perhaps go to bed on 24th and wake up on 26th

Re: Christmas Day
We will spend it here on the west coast, probably gale force wind and pissing rain. If I could afford it, I would go to Austria to the ski slopes. I'd like to do it before the kids get much older but I'll have to win the lottery first.
