Jeez, this guy has put his hands up to this and shelled out to avoid going to court!    So what is the on the spot fine for fare dodging on the trains? £10, £100? No idea really, dont use them much. Think he should have asked Vince for some advice!   
Just to put this in perspective I can fly to Tenerife and back 8 times a year @ £100 return (about my average spend) for 53 years and still have change for a few pints! I am even guaranteed a seat.    

I dont think even Minty spends that much on beer!

Well, its about 50,000 pints on the Funchal strip.    If I dont bother eating I can get pleasantly merry on 5  

8.5 pints a day...

That'll do nicely. But how many years?

Five as per the ticket dodger...

A 9 year old kid has fallen from the top deck of a double decker bus on a local dual carriageway. I know the road well and its never busy so we should presume this bus was doing 100kph. Not dead but seriously injured in Kings Lynn hospital, hope he jumped the waiting list behind the drunken Eastern Europeans.........    I digress........Coming back from a rugby match in Cromer, his parents were on the bus too......I do hope they werent inebriated.......

It was the state of the economy, felt I had to do something to try and prop it up, hop growers, brewery  workers, dray drivers, landlords, bar staff, cleaners, and the occasional policeman's livelihood depend on me...

Plus the fare dodger done it for five years so had to factor that in to the equation...

 

As long as you were just doing your bit for the UK and not suffering from any trauma.  

That comes later when you give up the beer.
