Oh shit, that reminds me, we've got an at home pool match tonight, whats wrong with that you say, nothing except I recall seeing a notice in the pub saying they were putting on a DJ or karaoke or something for George's day,,, was looking forward to watching the football on the telly as we played, not some old fart blasting out They'll Be Blue Birds Over etc etc, or some young idiot giving it da da da da da d da da,,, arghhhh

Well was exactly what I predicted, pub was mobbed out with what must have been the worst collection of karaoke singers in the world, then with about an hour to go until closing time DJ starts putting thing on like as I predicted Blue Birds Over The White Cliffs Of Dover, Rule Britannia, Jersuselem, etc, etc, the punters were lapping it up sining along as if it was the Last Night Of The Proms,,, best bit of the night for me,,, was when in my broadest Scots accent shouted out a request for Flower Of Scotland,,, no feckin sence of humour them English do they...
