Yip, thing was fu#ked, cables going ping, unable to take the weight of modern trucks etc, then the minute they get funding for a new bridge, mmmm maybe the old one ain't in to bad condition,,, tell you what we'll do, we'll separate the cars from the commercial vehicles and make the cars go over the shiny strong new bridge, and put them big heavy lorry things over the rusting old decrepit one...

This celebration thing, the people from the north are going to cross the bridge to meet the people from the south, while the people from the south cross to meet the people from the north,,, is it me,,, but who the fu#k are they going to meet, they'll all be at opposite ends of the bridge...

They install the noise monetering equipment in 2006 , 46 years after it opened, wonder how many pings the missed over that period of time, next time your crossing Cam and you start to hear ping, ping, ping, ping, never mind the MPG figures, get the foot down...
