Notifications from Tenerife Forum

Is anyone else getting these?  I can´t remember the last time I logged on there, I rarely look but in the past two days I have received from admin@tenerifeforum.org 4 notifications to illegal lettings, I was never particularly interested in this topic and when I got the first message yesterday I clicked unsubscribe but they keep coming.   

What I find strange is to unsubscribe I don´t have to log in so how does it know who I am and that I no longer want messages.

Even stranger I just clicked the link that was sent, and it looks like the last post was in April and was from Ecky not angusjim

I have a "Micky Mouse" e-mail address I use to get set up on forums, quizzes etc, saves my genuine e-mail address getting bombarded with the likes of above...

Could be they're just missing her and want her back...

I took the same steps as you Gypsy and haven't got any emails

There is a problem - a lot of users are reporting this.

I've been getting them for a couple of days now.

They are all dated September 2012 and none of them have any sender details.

Well this morning I have received another message the sender is auto-generated Return-Path: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]    someone must think I am admin !!!   My confusion is do I totally ignore because as Bob said above there is a problem or do I log in and reply to bettyboo who may just think I'm the village idiot especially if she has been a member since 2012.

PS: Just gone back and checked, there is no date on my email so don´t know when it is from. This is the message

Activate her on here, you would think one of the peeps that runs it who looks in here would have messaged you.

I would ust ignore it. It is very strange though these messages.

I came back from my holidays recently to find a load of spam and viruses in my inbox that were sent to me by the Founder of this website.

Topdog got hacked not long ago Jimbo, delete anything that says it's from him from about 3 weeks ago. I think he's "clean" now...

Great holiday thanks M - Haight and Ashbury are still there but they've had a tidy up and given the area a lick of paint.

Two big highlights:-

1)  I fulfilled my dream of riding a Harley down Route One.

2)  I walked the Golden Gate Bridge (I'm scared of heights) AND found 20 bucks lodged in the railings halfway across - hahaha

Brilliant that is what holidays are about.

Yep someone had hijacked my email which was dealt with quick but afraid some did get through, I did try to warn as many as possible

He emailed me to say he was going to pay that £100 he owed me. Still haven't seen it.
