Did you know that Balmoral clock is always 3 minutes fast. Its to help passengers catch their trains in nearby Waverley station. Educational place this forum!

You wouldn't to have stayed there some years back, was a rundown tip, called The North British back then after the railway company, had folk music nights on in the bar on a weekly basis, so had a few in there, when it reopened after the refurbish went in for a drink just to see what it looked like, prices had went up a bit...
