I thought that, then thought these guys, (the pilots), are so used to being told what to do they basically follow instructions, climb to this level, fly this heading, taxi to runway marker W2-R,,, and is that what happened in the video, the pilot was just doing as he was told and taxied across the runway, or did he fu#k up...
But got to say if I'd been given clearance to taxi over what looks like a pretty busy main runway, I think a quick look right/left might have come in to my mind...
That second post I made about the Tenerife crash, I read through the Wiki article which goes in to a fair bit of detail, yip it basically happened because the KLM pilot thought he had been cleared for takeoff, but the whole sequence of events leading up to the crash and even after it are so by chance, so many things, and if only one had altered by timing, a decision, the location by a few feet, it wouldn't have happend...
