Sadly just heard that Ian Lennard has passed away - he was one of the most talented entertainers and music producers on the island. RIP Ian and heartfelt sympathy to Maggie and his family.

I have only heard him sing alongside others but he had a great voice. He is mainly known for producing backing tracks not only for the entertainers on the island but for companies in the UK and America. He was ill earlier in the year and a benefit was held for him in Feb and another in March when he was in hospital. I thought I had read he had had an accident but I could be wrong. It now sounds as if he also had cancer.
