That would give Scotland a hell of a start with the oil reserves then wouldn't it?? And, it may be noted, that even at the bottom of the crash, the average Irish person was still better off than the average Scot ( not the average English person though). Strange that innit. (I'm talking about disposable income after taxes etc. )
