if he is old enough to plan and carry out the crime then he is old enough to serve the full term sentence.

Yep, no argument there. Was surprised he was tried as an adult. Betcha he was an only child, spoilt rotten. There are very few cases imo, where the parents are blameless. Don't believe someone is born bad, they learn that. Either that or the boy was insane, which judging by his comments after, I don't think so. Glad to say our three were brought up to respect others, say please and thank you. We have never smacked them and give them plenty of rope, but if they step out of line, I'll come down on them like a ton of bricks.
