Photos have disappeared
I had photos from Kerry on this thread but they have disappeared. Is there any way of getting them back? I lost all our photos when the hard drive fell 12 months ago and only thought about these ones now. I presume forumotion might have deleted them to save space on their servers?

Re: Photos have disappeared
I doubt any one here deleted them but as they were on your computer, when you lost the hard drive maybe they were automatically deleted then. If you added them through Servimg.com is there not a copy there or do they also vanish if you lose the original?

Re: Photos have disappeared
I hoping that Servimg has a copy M, but how do I access it. When I load a photo through the "load photo" link here, whose Servimg account do they upload to? Its not mine.

I have a log in to the website Here and just load to that, so I assumed you have one too.

I use the "Host an image" icon on the toolbar on the top of the "Quick reply" box M. It brings me straight to Servimg but not into my account.

Re: Photos have disappeared
Slightly off topic, but like you 3rd I use the host an image icon to load pictures, but it only works when I'm on the laptop but not the iPad, I go on the icon, select the picture I wish to load, now when I'm on the laptop I click and copy the middle option out of the three on offer, (Cam told me how to do this some time back), I then just paste it on the forum post a reply box, but when I'm on the iPad it will not let me copy the row of all the gobilliedygook stuff that comes up in the centre option line, so what am I doing wrong ...

Dermo, when you click on that Servimg link Gypsy gave, does it not open up with your e-mail and password already filled in? I clicked on it and mine was there...

Re: Photos have disappeared
The box that come up on the iPad isn't big enough to hold the whole line of the gobbledygook stuff so ipad won't let me select all of it to copy.

Re: Photos have disappeared
If it can't copy all of the line, then when you paste to the "Insert an image" box on the forum, the forum won't recognise the copied URL address as it is incomplete. ( At least this is what I'm getting from your description)

There must be some way of highlighting the entire link! I'll do a bit of googling tomorrow. Remind me tomorrow evening.

Re: Photos have disappeared
I sent someone a message on ebay yesterday and all I got back was a page of that gobbledegook, guess he was using an ipad or summat modern then. Another sale lost then to modern technology.

Re: Photos have disappeared
I get this when I click Gypsy's link...
Minty, when you left click on the middle line, it should turn blue. When it does, right click and "copy".
