    Love this bit in the article wher the judge said of plod:-
    Weighing up the competing claims, the judge said PC Rowland was "not the sort of man who would have had the wit, imagination or inclination to invent on the spur of the moment an account of what a senior politician had said to him in temper".

    So it ok for the judge to call Mr Plod a pleb...

    £80,000 plus the £300,000 costs of which there could more...

    And only because the judge thought the plod was a pleb and didn't have the sence to make the story up, cos there was no other evidence, just one mans word against an others...
