The motorway is open. This is a link I got from Gypsy on TA. Strange that there isn't any mention in the news websites about it

When heading from TFS to Los Cris in a taxi, if you see ten feet of motorway wall without a war wound you win a prize...

A9 in Scotland is just the same. They tried to save money by only dualling certain sections, now they're trying bits with 3 lanes and promising it will be dualled eventually. Far too many deaths on that road...

Went through the tunnel from Santiago, lit up like the Dartford Tunnel. Its not a Motorway, only one lane going downhill, followed a Nissan Micra for miles............. Anyway, bad move to check it out cos as I came out the tunnel Guardia Civil were waiting on other side, they pulled me over cos I didnt have headlights on. Now I know the rules but because I was pissed I forgot. 100€ fine so I hesitantly offered up the credit card......... At least 10 minutes he tried to get his machine to accept the card......... Do you have another card sir? Errrr, No. Offered 60€ cash, not interested. Upshot was he let me off, Lucky day Sir, no charge.
